"Goodbye, MeetinVR!

Words cannot express what an amazing ride it has been!

8 years ago I started prototyping by myself, in my bedroom, what would become one of the most well-known XR business software in the world. I was 22 and I was ready to start following my life-long dream to build something truly special, something that would change the world - even just a little. Over the following years, I have been blessed with many impactful accomplishments, which I can only describe as dreams coming true.

No one could have ever prepared me for the incredible highs and lows one experiences when building something with full passion, love, and dedication. From the intense highs of being at the center of the tech world in the midst of the pandemic to having to make extremely tough decisions to avoid losing everything your team has been building for years. So many lessons learned, so many incredible people met along the way, friendships forged and sometimes broken, and many sacrifices made but all of them are worth it when you get to sit down with your colleagues, look back and think "Wow, we've built all that!".

I want to express a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey with me, encouraged me to follow my dream, and believed in my vision. And the biggest thanks goes to my team, present and former colleagues who have been nothing short of incredible. Here are just a few of the things we have accomplished together in the past years:

- Introduced thousands to the transformative experience of XR meetings

- Proudly served major companies like VMware, Teleperformance, and Takeda, as well as prestigious institutions like Stanford University who have been using our app to enhance their courses for many years

- Ranked among the top 6 apps on the Meta Quest store in 2021 and downloaded on nearly 200k Quest devices

- Featured in hundreds of tech articles, many of which by Forbes, VentureBeat, TechCrunch, Business Insider, and others.

- Featured in almost all "Top 5 VR meeting apps" types of articles.

- Set an example to so many new companies to join the space and to innovate in this beautiful industry.

I am now taking some time to relax, reflect on everything, and get ready for my next adventures. While my journey with MeetinVR has ended, I am thrilled about what is yet to come and ready to build some more truly EPIC things!
